So, we really wanted to reach the people of Gimli, Manitoba. A huge number of Icelanders moved there a more than a century ago, so there is a very large Icelandic, or a sort of “New Icelandic” community there. Many people in Gimli speak Icelandic and an Icelander visiting there can practically get by speaking Icelandic, I’m told.

Frequent urination remedy by the dozens

We were offered to ship 150 samples of SagaPro to Gimli, for a ceremonial dinner. Packing those samples into envelopes took quite some time and folding the letters took 5 times as long as I’d anticipated. Add to that a depleted printer cartridge and you’ve got yourself quite a logistical problem.

But they got the samples, and they were presented to each guest. The master of ceremony even mentioned us, and everyone got so interested. After all, New Icelanders are very interested in doing business with the “old country” and we like to think we’re doing something new.

I can’t wait for the online traffic to start pouring in. We are looking to Canada as a future market, and this type of guerilla marketing can get us going both online and offline.

Alright, the herb itself isn’t on display, but the poster is almost better than the original, kind of. It’s so rich in colour that it draws attention. We’ll have it in English shortly for those who can’t understand Icelandic. According to my best sources that applies to the majority of the world’s population.

SagaPro featured in UK magazine

Tomorrow there will be a small article in Woman’s Weekly, a large UK lifestyle magazine. It’s about the angelica herb and dietary supplements produced from it. Just a small column, really, but really quite visible. It’s great to see the papers picking up on us. I did send them photos and a whole bunch of text material. I then saw the article, and we have 2 whole lines of text about SagaMedica and SagaPro! But we’re still in it and our website is featured there, too, so that’s fine.
